Description

The EPC 10 USB Double, Triple, and Quadro patch clamp amplifiers are the ideal instruments for conducting double or triple patch experiments, continuing the tradition of providing the world’s best electrophysiology amplifiers. Although a single housing contains two (EPC 10 USB Double), three (EPC 10 USB Triple), or four (EPC 10 USB Quadro) amplifiers, each amplifier is operationally and ergonomically distinct. The software of HEKA activates the desired amplifier, and the user can program the selected channels without the need to hassle with cable connections.
input:
output:The user can immediately assign the amplifiers to specific patched cells due to the clear identification of the amplifiers and headstages. The amplifiers can be stimulated simultaneously, resulting in simultaneous data acquisition, despite their independence. Current or voltage signals from numerous amplifiers can be recorded, displayed, and even analyzed online. This adaptability renders these amplifiers the optimal instruments for experiments that involve the examination of gap junction potentials, pre- and post-synaptic events, and the use of amperometric measurements.

The EPC 10 USB Double and EPC 10 USB Triple’s adaptability is a result of their software-based adjustment and control. The amplifier can be fully controlled manually, while leak currents, capacitances, and series resistances can be neutralized automatically in an instant. The integration of extensions, such as photometric and fluorescence measurements, is made possible by the ease with which Voltage- and Current-Clamp experimental protocols can be automated. This ensures simplicity, great speed, and accuracy.
