Flexicult® Vet is an agar plate with elevated sides that is divided into compartments with partitions and a lid. Quantitative analysis is conducted in a single, expansive compartment.and five small compartments, each of which contains a specific antibiotic: Ampicillin, Amoxicillin/clavulanate, Oxacillin, Enrofloxacin, and Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole.input:

output:Over the agar, the urinary sample is briefly poured (3–5 seconds). The plate is tilted to ensure that the small compartments containing antibiotics are flooded with urine from the large counting compartment if the urine sample fails to cover the entire agar surface in all compartments.

The remaining urine is poured off to prevent the counting compartment from coming into contact with urine that has been in contact with the small antibiotic compartments. Allow any surplus urine to drain from the plate by tapping it against the waste container.

Incubate Flexicult® Vet at 35°C for 18-24 hours with the bottom facing upwards and the lid on.

The following day, the plate is examined.input:
