output:The EGFR Mutations Detection Kit is a sensitive and selective assay that is designed to identify the most informative somatic mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene. It is used clinically in China to identify NSCLC patients who are most likely to respond to Iressa (Gefitinib) or Tarceva (Erlotinib).

In eight PCR tubes, the EGFR assay evaluates a total of 29 mutations, including both activating and resistance mutations. The anticipated response to mutant EGFR-targeting drugs is indicated by the presence of activating mutations. Resistance mutations in the tumor tissue may result in a suboptimal response to therapies that are intended to impede EGFR signaling.input:
