The Feline Distemper Virus / Feline Coronavirus Antigen Diagnostic Kit (Latex Immunochromatography) qualitatively detects the presence of Feline Distemper Virus / Feline Coronavirus in swab samples through the use of immunechromatography and a specific antigen-antibody reaction.input:
output:A drop of the processed sample is inserted into the spiking well of the card during the test. The sample liquid is then combined with latex particles that have been pre-coated with feline distemper virus/feline coronavirus-specific antibodies in a latex binding pad. The mixture is subsequently chromatographed at the opposite end using the capillary effect. In the event of a positive sample, the latex-labelled feline distemper virus/feline coronavirus antibody initially binds to the feline distemper virus/feline coronavirus antigen in the sample to form a latex*antibody-antigen complex. This complex is subsequently captured by another feline distemper virus/feline coronavirus antibody that is immobilized in the test zone as it passes over the test zone during the chromatographic process, resulting in a sandwich latex*antibody-antigen-antibody complex (immobilized in the membrane). The test area (T) will exhibit a band. In the absence of feline distemper virus/feline coronavirus antigen in negative samples, the aforementioned sandwich complex will not be formed in the test zone (T), and no band will be observed. The latex particles labelled with affinity pigments chromatographed over from the mixture are captured by a biotin-BSA linker that is immobilized in the QC zone (C) on the membrane. This complex is a latex*affinity pigment-biotin-BSA (immobilized on the membrane) complex.
