Electronic Veterinary Weighing Scale

The ANY-maze animal scales enable you to incorporate the weighing of animals into your experiments.

Any-maze will prompt you to place an animal on the scales before a test, based on the settings you specify in the protocol (see Note 1). Subsequently, it will weigh the animal and record the result. The weight of an animal can also be used to calculate the treatment dose in the ANY-maze (refer to note 2).

The ANY-maze animal scales are supported in versions of ANY-maze that are 6.10 or higher.

A USB adaptor (supplied) is used to connect the scales to your computer.

• The ANY-maze regulates the weighing of animals, supervises the process, and records the outcome.

• In order to account for the likelihood that the animal will be in motion, the weight is averaged over a few seconds.

• Scales activate automatically upon the commencement of ANY-maze and deactivate upon program termination.

• Capable of weighing animals weighing up to 2.2 kilograms

• Precise to ±0.1g

• The design is robust and includes integrated overload protection up to 22Kg.

1. The ANY-maze can be configured to weigh animals in one or more stages of your experiment:

• Prior to the administration of any tests in the stage• Prior to the animal’s initial examination in the stage.

• Prior to each examination in the stage.

The ANY-maze can also be configured to necessitate that an animal be weighed prior to testing.input:

output:3. These scales are commercially available; however, they must be programmed to function with ANY-maze. Consequently, ONLY scales that are supplied by Stoelting Co., or one of its dealers or affiliates, will be compatible with ANY-maze.
