The RoboDis II+ 10-batch system, which has a footprint of no more than 2×1 m, can save enough floor space to accommodate three complete semi-automatic dissolution testers, which includes media preparation and vessel cleaning. The RoboDis II+ enables the automated completion of the dissolution process. This approach enables the implementation of a fully automated testing process, which encompasses the setup, media preparation, and automated cleaning process.

RoboDis II+ is the sole parallel-working, fully automated dissolution test system that is currently available on the market. The entire dissolution process is computer-controlled, thereby eliminating the need for user intervention. The Disso.NET software, which was developed by ERWEKA, is the primary component of the fully automatic system. It is responsible for the precise movement of the robot arm, the control of the analytic devices, data processing, and a comprehensive documentation framework.

RoboDis II+ tests up to 10 batches in accordance with USP methods 1 (Basket) or 2 (Paddle) in the standard configuration. The user is able to select very short cycle times for the recording of detailed drug release profiles using the parallel sampling approach. A high level of reliability is guaranteed by the integration of System Suitability Tests (SST) and video monitoring. RoboDis II+ is fully compliant with USP/EP/JP standards, as are all ERWEKA products.
