The TEC 2900 Trimodular Embedding Center is characterized by a new compact and ergonomic design and a sturdy structure that houses three distinct components:
Main Console (paraffin dispenser), Cryo Console (cold plate for cooling blocks), Thermal Console (stationary thermal plate samples).
The Cryo console and the Thermal console can be positioned on either the right or left side of the dispensing unit, depending on the operator’s preference, due to the modularity of the three modules.
The front control panel in the Main Console allows for the easy modification of functions, while the electronic thermostat with a microprocessor is responsible for temperature control.
Additionally, it is possible to view and modify temperatures that are distinct from those of the tank that contains the paraffin tray cassettes and the work plan.
The Main console is equipped with two spacious trays (1.4 liters) that facilitate the storage of base molds, standard and macro casettes. The device is equipped with a removable magnifying glass and a lighting system that switches to LED cold light, ensuring optimal illumination. Paraffin dispensing can be accomplished through manual control, cassette insertion, or footswitch operation.
