Our Barricade™ Overhead Barrier, with its distinctive hinged and folding design, enables you to more effectively safeguard yourself from the harmful effects of scattered radiation from multiple directions simultaneously. Using two 0.5mm lead equivalent shields, this ceiling-mounted solution establishes a radiation-safe area that is adjustable in size and shape, measuring 30 inches in width and 24 inches in height. A complete viewing window is provided by one shield. The other has a torso cutout with a curtain to facilitate positioning over an imaging table. The dual, hinged shields establish a radiation-safe area that enables the end user to continuously optimize their protection during procedures that necessitate the active use of x-rays.
