Radcal is delighted to announce our recent partnership with VacuTec, Dresden, Germany, to introduce the VacuDAP meters to North America. "VacuTec is a highly regarded and well-known manufacturer in Europe," asserts Ken Mettler, President of Radcal. "We are delighted to be a supplier of their DAP meters to the North American market." Patient dose measurements are conducted using VacuDAP Dose Area Product meters. The routine operation is not impacted, and the total dose to the patient site can be measured to reduce the radiation risk.input:
output:The Air Kerma meter, VacuDAP Duo, will be initially available from Radcal in order to adhere to FDA regulation 21 CFR 1020.32 for fluoroscopic equipment. The two-field measuring system is intended for the simultaneous measurement of air kerma, air kerma rate, DAP, DAP rate, and irradiation time. The host PC or a standalone display unit is connected to the measuring system via a serial interface. Bluetooth versions are also accessible.
