The Model 445 Universal Head Immobilizer is a lightweight and user-friendly device that enables you to quickly and safely immobilize patients, thereby enabling you to provide more secure and comfortable care. It is equipped with two closed-cell foam head supports that are plastic-coated, a universal attachment base, and two durable head straps that are designed to fit the patient’s forehead. The patient can be easily monitored due to the presence of large ear holes. The base plate is compatible with all FERNO backboards, with the exception of the NAJO Sports Board. Head supports can be utilized on any standard backboard or inverted for use on the FERNO Scoop Stretcher.
