Tracheal Stent

The Stening® Tracheal stent is the traditional and straight stent for tracheal affections. It is composed of a tubular structure with flat surface anchoring studs on its outer wall to prevent stent migration.

A primary or secondary tracheal neoplasm, a tracheoesophageal fistula, or a tracheal rupture.

Cryotherapy or electrocautery may be implemented subsequent to laser resection to preserve the airway.

Extrinsic compression or compromise of the submucosa.

Stenosis following intubation.Post-traumatic stenosis.

Post-infectious stenosis (endobronchial tuberculosis, histoplasmosis mediastinal fibrosis, herpes virus, diphtheria).

Focal trachea-bronchomalacia: following tracheostomy or radiation therapy.
