The disintegration time of samples is automatically determined by the ERWEKA ZT 730 Series with cable-free AirBasket, which employs a distinctive system of magnets and sensors. Its newly designed, cable-free AirBasket simplifies and expedites disintegration testing by automatically determining the disintegration time. The electronics compartment is sealed, rendering it dishwasher-safe. The AirBasket is also capable of operating in acidic media due to the sensors’ exceptional durability. AirBasket is offered in two configurations: type A, which includes six test tubes for standard tablets, and type B, which includes three test tubes for larger tablets (both in accordance with USP/EP standards).

The thermal inertia of water is employed by the dependable waterbath technology to establish a consistent temperature for testing in accordance with USP/EP standards. With its temperature sensor PT 100, the waterbath temperature can be maintained at a consistent level. The ZT 730 series is capable of storing and retrieving up to 200 products/methods with results and parameters, and is controlled by an intuitive 7″ touch-screen.
