Surgery Training Manikin

The capacity to correctly position a dog is one of the fundamental abilities of a veterinarian. The purpose of "Rocky" was to instruct this ability. Positioning is a skill that is required at all times, whether for abdominal surgery, spaying or neutering, or x-rays. There is the possibility of positioning for spinal stabilization in a supine or any other position. "Rocky" offers a realistic resistance and a natural range of motion, allowing students to practice in a simulated environment prior to working with a real animal. The shoulders and hips are mobile at 90°, and the knees, elbows, ankle, and carpal joints are also mobile.
