The new surface kits are packaged with a swab and a tube that contains a buffered broth containing neutralizing agents. Surface sampling kits are designed for subsequent microbiological analysis. The kit is a single-use product that is sterilized using radiation. The swab is comprised of a viscose tip and a polystyrene support with a breakpoint (only reference 200398). The tube is equipped with either a pressure or screwed cap. The kit is designed for use by personnel who are proficient in surface sampling and have received appropriate training. The kit is individually packaged in a peel-and-stick format. The sampling template (200396P) is used in conjunction with the kit.

It is sterile and is supplied in a flow-pack. It has a 4×5 cm hole for sampling.
