The Sharpey's fibers should be separated using a periotome prior to the use of extraction forceps or elevators in order to achieve an atraumatic extraction. Consequently, the Periotome is propelled through the sulcus. The surrounding gingiva and periost are prevented by the appropriate use. The SCHWERT P-LUX handle design ensures a safe and tactile handling experience.
