The P0 Periotome Handle effortlessly accommodates the Straight Wide Periotome Blade Tip. The blade is paper thin and slightly rounded, allowing it to slide easily below the gum line. The blades are flexible, which reduces the likelihood of breakage. They are employed to sever the periodontal ligament prior to an extraction in order to preserve the surrounding bone and tissue. Individually available or included in the K6100 kit.
