Sterilization Biological Indicator

The Bowie & Dick test enables the verification of the proper evacuation of air from the sterilization chamber and the complete penetration of steam in porous loads.

The device’s performance is simulated by the Bowie & Dick test, which specifically assesses:the preliminary vacuum’s effectiveness, which in turn affects the penetration of steam into the cavities; and the temperature and saturated vapour pressure values that occur during the sterilization process.input:
