Weiler Engineering, Inc. was the first to develop insertion technology for ASEP-TECH® Blow/Fill/Seal systems. The technology consists of a barrier isolator that is typically integrated with the B/F/S machine and located outside the machine room. A rapid transfer port is used to load sterile inserts, such as tip and cap assemblies or multi-entry rubber stoppers, into the isolator, which is maintained at Class 100 conditions.input:
output:Afterward, the inserts are indexed into the B/F/S machine and inserted into the molded container before the final top closure is formed. The operations are conducted entirely under Class 100 controlled environment conditions, without any human intervention, ensuring a high level of sterility assurance for products that are not capable of terminal sterilization.
