The MT990 rotary microtome is equipped with a motorized, programmable, automatic trim that ensures a consistent, reproducible cutting speed for automated sectioning. The MT990 effortlessly cuts paraffin, plastic, and hard specimens with an accelerated return stroke and adjustable cutting zone. The motor drive's benefits can also be leveraged to alleviate the strain associated with repetitive, high-output histology sectioning.
