Radiography Test Phantom
Type Of Calibration | For Radiography |
Area Of The Body | Spine |
The RS-1400 spine-segment daily IGRT quality assurance phantom is a precision-machined translucent block of tissue equivalent material that contains four thoracic vertebrae and six markers. In order to ensure a reproducible setup, the block phantom is inscribed with machined centering lines. Three gold markers are included for MV imaging, while three graphite markers are included for KV imaging. The reproducibility and accuracy of the image-derived re-location of the treatment isocenter(s) to any of the imaged markers are assessed daily after the set-up. The phantom can be machined to accommodate an ion chamber or other measurement device as an alternative. The ART torso segment option comprises ribs, soft tissue, organs, and the lung, enabling realistic imaging in cone-beam CT and planar imaging. This option is suitable for daily QA and IGRT therapist training.
