The Protease Assay Kit is intended for the quantitative determination of proteases in a protein sample by utilizing a dye-labeled protein substrate.input:
output:The proteases in the sample of interest will digest the protein substrate and release peptides that are dye-labeled. The protease activity is determined by measuring the absorbance of the dye-labeled peptide at 570nm.
Chemically stabilized Trypsin (MSG-Trypsin™) is included in the kit as a general protease standard; however, other specific protease standards may also be applicable. MSG-Trypsin™ is an ultra-pure trypsin derived from the bovine pancreas that has been modified through methylation and TPCK treatment. It is highly resistant to autolysis.input:
