Posture-Correcting Orthosis

Type Posture-Correcting Orthosis
Application Vertebral Hyperextention
Fixation With 3-Point Base System
Description

Hyperextension brace with a structure of lightweight alloy aluminum similar to that used in the aeronautical industry, a more aesthetic updated design, and an innovative three-dimensional pectoral support system with 3-axis movement, which is achieved through pectoral hinges that ensure a snug fit to the chest and a full elastic range. The brace has three support points: suprapubic, dorsolumbar, and sternal. This new, more comfortable support significantly enhances the brace’s fit to the patient’s body, thereby reducing the likelihood of painful impacts that could potentially affect the orthosis’s use for the prescribed treatment. The articulating pelvic support can be fixed at a specific angle and offers the patient increased comfort while seated. Its closure system is highly secure, rapid, and user-friendly. The upper padding is entirely composed of foam fabric that has been thermoformed for enhanced comfort. It is effortlessly removable due to the Velcro fastening system.input:
output:Effects:Three-point support system induces hyperextension of the spinal column. Mechanical discharge of the vertebral bodies in the lower thoracic and upper lumbar regions. Restriction and stabilization of spinal movements. Analgesia.input:
output:Signs: Fractures caused by compression. Secondary metastasis-induced vertebral pain. Spondyloarthritis, whether or not it is associated with arthroscopic sclerosis. Chronic dorsalgia, lumbosciatica, and lumbalgia. Intervertebral disc surgery necessitates medium-term immobilization. Stable vertebral fractures of the lumbar spine and lower dorsal spine. Temporary orthotic care following surgery for an unstable vertebral body fracture. Permanent orthotic care is required following surgery for vertebral body tumors and metastases.
