The Discovery Pico Series is the optimal laser for skin resurfacing treatments, benign pigmented lesions, and tattoo removal.

This laser series combines maximum operating performance with a wide range of treatments by offering up to three wavelengths (532 nm – 1064 nm – 694 nm), high peak power, and up to four emission modes.

A pure photoacoustic effect is produced by the Discovery Pico Series, which shatters inks and pigmentations while leaving the surrounding tissues unharmed. This picosecond laser, when used in conjunction with the Microbeam DF handpiece, can generate LIOBs within the skin, which can have a meaningful impact on fine lines and wrinkles. input:

1) Optibeam IIIt produces a variety of flat-top spot shapes in a range of sizes: Square flat-top handpieces are optimal for tattoo removal. Round, flat-top handpieces are intended to be customized to accommodate benign pigmented lesions and are ideal for facial treatments. Microbeam handpieces, on the other hand, are ideal for skin resurfacing due to their high safety standards and quick recovery time. input:
output:2) Twain options consist of IPL or Er:YAG handpieces that can be connected to the TWAIN connector of the device (this option is not available for the Discovery Pico Derm).

Twain IPL is recommended for the following applications: Permanent Hair Reduction*, Dermatological Benign Vascular Treatments, and Benign Pigmented Lesions. *Permanent hair reduction is defined as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing when measured at 6, 9, and 12 months after the completion of a treatment regime.Twain 2940 is recommended for the following: complete skin resurfacing.
