InstruDents X employs the Mini Gracey 13-14 to eliminate deep subgingival calculus. Its terminal shank is 3 mm longer than that of a Standard Gracey. Its blade is thinner and more acute, allowing for effortless access to deep periodontal pockets.
It is primarily employed in the posterior distal surfaces, molars, and premolars.
Mini Gracey curettes are distinguished by their terminal shank, which is 3mm longer than that of standard Gracey curettes. The blade shank of the mini Gracey curette is 50% shorter and 10% thinner than that of the standard Gracey curette. Mini Gracey curettes are effective for scaling in deep, narrow pockets.
