The Dorsal Resting Hand is a functional resting hand position that is used to treat spasticity and contracture caused by CVA, closed head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and cerebral palsy. The palmar area is liberated, tone inhibition is improved, and sensory feedback is improved by the dorsal arm platform. The Dorsal Hand, which is constructed from durable, lightweight recycled thermoplastic, can be heat molded at a low temperature to reposition the hand in tone-reducing positions. An anti-microbial foam liner eliminates potential pressure points and "wicks" moisture away from the skin.
