AMPLIFIX® 1 and AMPLIFIX® 1 with Gentamicin surgical cement are employed to secure orthopaedic implants during knee arthroplasty.AMPLIFIX® 1 and AMPLIFIX® 1 with Gentamicin are radiopaque surgical cements that are sterile.
The AMPLIFIX® 1 Gentamicin version offers infection prophylaxis due to its antibiotic content.input:

- Gamma-sterilized powdered polymer in a double-sterile bag consisting of a protective aluminum wrapping and a polyethylene bag
- A glass ampoule containing a sterile liquid monomer (ethylene oxide)
It must be stored in its original packaging in a dark location at a temperature below 25°C.
