Description

Ceiling installation over the operating table is a feature that is specifically tailored for hospital applications. The laminar flow is a welded and sealed structure composed of aluminum alloy sheets and profiles, forming an airtight plenum. The device is designed to secure the scialitic lamp to the ceiling by means of a completely sealed central hole and a recangular lateral air entry. To ensure that the structure is not a vessel for dirt and that it can be effectively cleaned, it is devoid of projections. The module is typically constructed in a single piece, but in the LS/700 version, it is delivered in disassembled form in multiple components that must be assembled on-site. This enables a more efficient handling during internal movement or transport. Grids in 12/10 aluminum sheet that are micro-perforated and powder-coated are utilized to create the shielding. In order to facilitate convenient sanitization and cleaning of the system, these are fastened to the structure with screws that do not protrude from the sheet. The grids’ full vacuum percentage is approximately 40%. The module is equipped with specialized HEPA H14 absolute filters that are designed to accommodate laminar flows. A sensor can be installed upon request to measure the pressure drop and, as a result, the relative effectiveness of the filters. Our method enables the attainment of the air purity required for the ISO5/7 classes in accordance with the ISO14644-1 regulations.
