It is crucial to acquire high-quality images that are both accurate and stable in all OCTs. Nevertheless, it is challenging to obtain these images as a result of the patient’s eye movement during the test. The HOCT utilizes image processing algorithms called “Smart Viewing Technology” (SVT)** and “Fast Scan Speed” to detect rapid eye movements. It can scan at a rate of up to 68,000 points per second and calibrate the image to produce a quality optical image. HOCT is capable of acquiring high-quality images without the need for any repetitive operations, even for first-time users.
