The ZEFIRO Nitrogen Generator is a standalone system that is specifically designed to supply nitrogen to single LC/MS applications that necessitate a consistent and autonomous nitrogen flux.
Pressure swing adsorption technology (PSA) is employed by the nitrogen generator to generate nitrogen gas. This system employs a carbon molecular sieve (CMS) that selectively adsorbs oxygen and water vapor molecules under high pressure, while allowing nitrogen to pass through. The continuous production of nitrogen flow is guaranteed by the alternation between the purification and regeneration of the sieve bed pressure vessels.
