Enhance case turnaround by eliminating the need for touch during scanning and enabling the racks to be loaded continuously directly from the HistoCore SPECTRA Workstation (Stainer & Coverslipper).
Assist in the enhancement of IT security and control by utilizing a dedicated SAM (Scanner Admin Manager) server and software that enables the configuration and monitoring of multiple Aperio GT 450s simultaneously. There will be no longer be individual workstations for each scanner.

Following this, the slides are automatically scanned at a rate of 81 slides per hour at a magnification of 40x for a 15mm x 15mm area.
