output:The AVS guarantees safety by means of automatic "on" and "off." The system operator is not required to remember to activate the vacuum. The Porter AVS automatically activates the scavenger vacuum as soon as the gas begins to flow from the flowmeter.input:
output:The vacuum control and indicator gauge are conveniently situated on the side of the AVS, enabling the user to adjust the vacuum with ease and precision. Nitrous oxide will be extracted from the patient at a rate that exceeds their capacity to inhale it if the vacuum rates are set too high. Excessive nitrous oxide exposure for both the physician and the staff may occur as a consequence of inadequate vacuum rates.input:
output:All Porter brand flowmeters and breathing circuits are compatible. The AVS can be effortlessly connected to the MXR flowmeter or mounted on a remote mount (refer to the Mounts tab).
