The DNA of mammalian cells is stained using the fluorescent dye, Propidium Iodide (PI), in ADAM-rWBC HT.
PI is a nucleic acid dye that exclusively stains cellular DNA when used in conjunction with RNase.
White blood cells, which contain DNA in their nuclei, are stained in blood samples, while red blood cells and platelets are not.(without nuclei) are not stained.input:

Appropriate sample preparation is required for the absolute counting of residual leukocytes. Load the sample into the r-Slide after mixing it with the r-Solution that was provided.
