Description
BARS® is an endoscopic treatment for weight regain or dumping syndrome following a gastric bypass.The BARS® is comprised of a BARS® hand wheel, thread retriever, and application cap with a mounted clip and thread. The application aids are guided along the outside of the endoscope in working channels, while the BARS® application cap is mounted on the tip of the endoscope. The thread is tensioned and the clip is released by rotating the hand wheel.
The lumen is prevented from closing completely and the remaining lumen is defined during clip application by the balloon that is inserted into the anastomosis.
The BARS® Set is a comprehensive treatment unit that includes the following products:
