Laboratory Thermostat

In 1948, Techne® developed the "Clip On" thermoregulator, which is now available in four models. Thermoregulators are intended for use with the Techne® unheated water baths or any other suitable laboratory vessel. The temperature of the liquid in the bath will be safely controlled within precise limits by heating, circulating, and regulating it.input:

Although a low-temperature liquid is necessary below 0°C, this thermoregulator can be utilized for sub-ambient cooling, as low as -40°C. The cooling coil accessory (part number FCC01) can be connected to an external chilling system, such as a cold tap, to achieve sub-ambient cooling. Alternatively, a Techne dip-cooler or flow cooler could be employed as a chilling method.input:

There are numerous applications for this thermoregulator. (1) A temperature controller for waterbaths that operates independently and is capable of precise accuracy and stirring. (2) Pump for the recirculation of chilled liquid generated by an external chiller, which enables the temperature of the water bath to be sub-ambient. (3) A pump that is used to regulate the temperature of an external system or device. (4) The utilization of externally chilled liquid in conjunction with the provision of temperature control to an external system. For further details, please refer to the Application.
