Evaporator that is internally ventilated. A forced-air cooling system was designed to ensure that the refrigerator maintains a consistent temperature, even when the door is frequently opened. The evaporator fan is deactivated when the door is opened. R452a is a refrigerant that is free of chlorofluorocarbons. R290, a natural refrigerant that is free of CFC/HCFCs, is available upon request.
