These bottles are the optimal choice for the storage of a wide range of aqueous and nonaqueous solutions, biology fluids, culture media, and reagents due to their exceptional chemical resistance.

A temperature resistance that is significantly greater than that of standard lab glass (or soda lime glass) is achieved by a low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3). Hybex glass is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -70°C to 500°C, which enables it to be used repeatedly in autoclaves, microwaves, freezers, and dry heat sterilization chambers.

Each bottle is equipped with a substantial labeling area and permanent graduations that are easily readable.

A drip-free sealing ring and a standard blue polypropylene GL45 sealing cap are included in all hybex media bottles (the 50 ml bottle is equipped with a GL 32 cap). Also available in an assortment pack that includes two of each cap color, or with green, purple, white, and yellow caps. Packed in quantities of ten.
