Product summary

The Löwenstein Medical ventilator, Leoni plus, is appropriate for the long-term ventilation of premature infants, newborns, and children weighing up to 30 kg. The user is able to deliver optimal and personalized care to all patients due to the extensive selection of 38 invasive and non-invasive ventilation modes. The range of individualization is completed by the option of volume limitation and volume guarantee, as well as high-frequency oscillation and high flow therapy. Triggered invasive and non-invasive modes are also available. Leoni plus therefore offers dependable assistance to premature infants and newborns during their challenging early years.

The 12-inch color touchscreen or the control knob are both simple and intuitive methods of operating the device. To optimize the ergonomic organization of the ward's workspace, the display can be removed and reattached to accommodate the unique requirements and working environments of each individual. A single display contains all pertinent settings, measurements, alarms, curves, and loops. The display can be customized to meet the specific needs of the user by selecting the number of curves, loops, and measurements.input:

The hot wire flow sensor, which is specifically engineered for placement in close proximity to the patient, automatically monitors the trigger sensitivity in relation to the patient's tidal volume.

Membrane oscillation is employed by the robust Leoni High-frequency Oscillatory ventilation (HFO) module, which is available for integration as an option. Bidirectional flow, amplitudes of up to 100 mbar, and adjustable rates between 5 and 20 Hz guarantee high-efficiency CO2 elimination and lung-protective alveolar oxygenation.
