The traditional process of monitoring the contents of Sterisystem® Dry-Base® instrument trays involves the use of barcode stickers. The Steri-ID HF RFID tag, which is integrated, is a high-quality complementary technology.



Consequently, it is necessary to periodically remove and replace these stickers, as they are susceptible to damage and become illegible. However, the embedded tag is impervious to the most prevalent chemicals used in hospitals, as well as to the high temperatures, steam, and vacuum of the autoclave, which are used for washing and sterilization.
