Description
A device that consists of a rigid/semi-rigid transparent plastic shell that forms an enclosure over the entire body of an infant, or the head only, in order to create an enriched environment of oxygen (O2) to enhance the patient’s consumption of O2. It is connected to an O2 source and can be used in conjunction with enhanced temperature and humidity control. It is intended for patients who are allergic to oxygen delivery devices, such as a nasal cannula or face mask. The tubing, a diffuser (to disperse the flow of incoming O2), and O2 concentration may be included in this device. This is a device that can be reused.
