Procedure

The procedure is typically completed in approximately 1-2 hours under general anesthesia. The majority of individuals return home on the same day.input:

Safety and Tolerance of SYMMETRY™

The substance SYMMETRY is not classified as a drug.

The side effects of this medication are not as severe as those of antidepressants, including sedation, weight gain, fatigue, and dry mouth.

It also does not produce the same side effects as other medication-free treatments (e.g., ECT, TMS), such as poor concentration, drowsiness, and memory loss.
