The EZ Sep is an abutment retrieval tool that was designed to assist physicians in the removal of the cold-welded connection abutments in implant restorations.
One of the disadvantages of the screw-and-cement-retained prosthesis technique is that it is challenging to remove the bond abutment from the implant, particularly if there is an internal conical sealed connection.In provisional and permanent implant restorations, this inventive device and technique integrate the benefits of both screw- and cement-retained methodologies, enabling the clinician to isolate the sealed abutment from the implant.The procedure is safe for the integrity of the restoration, straightforward for the practitioner, and comfortable for the patient.
