The Modena Bariatric -34W’s cushioned seat extends slightly to provide additional support and comfort to the thighs and behind the knees. Under the seat, 500 pounds are supported by reinforced steel. The horizontal support and three custom brackets comprise the flex frame, which extends from the chair’s seat to the back. In order to provide ergonomic support as the user adjusts their seating position, the seat, arms, and legs remain stationary.
