The Annequin kit is compatible with all standard ventilators and capnographs. Annequin reproduces the behavior of a typical animal by producing CO2 at a consistent rate, which must be eliminated through ventilation. Nevertheless, it is necessary to provide the Annequin with a feed of 100% CO2. This gas is typically readily accessible in clinical settings, as it is employed for insufflation during laporoscopies. A precision low flow (0-100ml) flow meter is included in our kit to enable you to precisely regulate the CO2 flow into your annequin.



The effects of over and under-ventilation, as well as the effects of dead space and flow rates in breathing circuits, can be easily simulated with Annequin. Additionally, the effects of hyper and hypocapnic states can be investigated.
