The primary deformities observed are represented by this foot model, which is manufactured by Nacional Ossos and has mechanical properties that are comparable to those of human bones. It is particularly well-suited for minimally invasive percutaneous surgery, the placement of ankle prostheses, the insertion of screws, plates, external fixators, and anchors, and the training of deformity corrections.
The model is adorned with a distal tibia and fibula, as well as hammer toes, hallux valgus, and a tailor’s bunion. Additionally, it is covered by a layer of material that replicates the skin.
