This system has been developed by utilizing our expertise in aerosol generation, exposure chambers, and sampling equipment. The system is utilized to assess the efficiency of particle filters in respiratory protective devices by testing their penetration, and it adheres to the European Standard EN 13274-7.input:
output:An aerosol generator generates paraffin oil droplets or, at the discretion, sodium chloride particles. The aerosol is introduced into the test chamber and passes through the fixed test filter at a predetermined flow rate. In order to guarantee a uniform aerosol concentration within the test chamber, an additional supply of air can be introduced into the system through a HEPA filter located prior to the test chamber. A spectrometer is employed to measure the concentration and particle size distribution of the aerosol immediately prior to and following the filter under test.
