Description

A digital block heater provides precise temperature control in small vessels for one to four aluminum blocks. The temperature of the sample vessel can be directly controlled by the PT-1000 temperature sensor that is included. It is employed in conjunction with Greiner tubes, microplates, cuvettes, PCR tubes, and PCR strips. Melting and boiling point determination, enzyme reactions, incubation and activation of cultures, immunoassays, DNA denaturation, culture media tests, coagulation tests, blood-urea-nitrogen determinations, and in situ hybridizations are all applications for which the block heater is well-suited.
