The Pharma 40DC industrial vacuum cleaner is a compact, flexible, and quiet unit that is specifically engineered to contain dust during operations involving highly potent HPAPI active ingredients. The construction is fully compliant with GMP guidelines and is designed to ensure the safety of all operators and the maximum filtration of dust. All maintenance operations are conducted using systems that ensure the highest level of safety, rendering it suitable for the handling of pharmaceutical powders and ensuring the highest containment levels of up to OEB5 during production and OEB4 during maintenance. The extracted dust is separated by the polished AISI316 stainless steel cyclone, which requires no maintenance and achieves a maximum separation rate of 98% (maximum, tested with placebo dust). The internal cleaning of the unit is possible with the wash-in-place option. The Bibo (BagIn-BagOut) system, which enables the absolute filter to be replaced without coming into contact with the sucked-in dust, ensures that the remaining dust is retained. The HEPA absolute filter is capable of filtering dust up to 0.18 microns with an efficiency of 99.995%, and it is possible to install two additional filters, one on the intake and one on the air outlet. The container’s fullness is indicated by a capacitive level probe.
