The Geratherm Respiratory Diffustik is the optimal measurement device for lung diffusion, providing consistent, dependable results from an infrared fast gas analyzer. Diffustik is a component of a modular system that can be augmented by the integration of additional modules. Therefore, the carbon monoxide diffusion capacity (DLCO) and its corresponding spirometry parameters, including flow-volume and MVV, can be improved by the inclusion of other diagnostically relevant values, such as MIP/MEP, Rocc/Rint, respiratory resistance, and lung volumes, through the inclusion of hardware and software options.
