Product summary

Mouse, rat, and large rat (> 500 g) are all available.input:
output:In rodents, the Rotarod test is frequently implemented to assess the impact of drugs on motor coordination, balance, and motor learning. The fundamental concept of this examination is that rats or mice are initially instructed to walk on a rod that rotates at a specific rate. The impact of a test compound on the motor performance of the animals is assessed after they have acquired this knowledge. When the rotation speed surpasses the motor coordination capacity of animals with impaired motor coordination, they are unable to manage the rotating rod and will fall off. The time latency to fall is automatically recorded when the animal drop from the rod safely into its own lane.input:
output:An advanced microprocessor provides precise timing control and accurate speed regulation for the Intellibio Digital Rotarod. Rotation can be electronically calibrated to a consistent speed (5-120rpm) by utilizing a dial located on the front panel.input:
output:Primary characteristics

Five lanes (width: 80 mm for rats; 57 mm for mice)Falling height: 320 mm for rats and 180 mm for mice. The speed can be electronically adjusted from 0 to 80 rpm.Fall detection mechanism

Individual lane timers with a resolution of 0.1 s.The central rod's diameter is 30 mm in mice and 60 mm in rats.Three modes are available: constant speed, acceleration 1, and acceleration 2.

Acceleration 1: standing start: commence at 0 and gradually increase the rate of acceleration to the selected RPM within the designated time frame.Acceleration 2: running stare: commence at 1/10 of the final selected RPM.Remote control with a touch screen

A USB connectionWindows® 7 and newer are supported. Minimum Requirements 1GHz and 256MB of memoryDimensions: 580 x 300 x 510 mm
