Silverline® Ventricular Drainage Catheter with Cranial Bolt
Spiegelberg Silverline® ventricular drainage catheter with cranial bolt is secured in the cranial bone using a cranial bolt. The catheter is inserted into the ventricle after the dura is opened and a burr hole is created. The cranial bone is screwed into place after the bolt is pushed down over the catheter. Finally, the clamping nut is used to secure the catheter in the bolt. The Silverline® ventricular drainage catheter's unique silver additive mitigates the likelihood of microbial colonization on the device's surface.input:
